SocialBuzz payment, ticket, and vendor marketplace terms.
These terms apply to ticket sales, vendor spots, event payments, tournament entries, reservations, sponsorships, and other paid marketplace transactions on SocialBuzz Events.
Effective Date: June 2026
1. Platform role
SocialBuzz Events is a technology platform that provides discovery, profile, ticketing, vendor marketplace, reservation, and payment tools. SocialBuzz Events is not the organizer, promoter, venue, vendor host, tournament operator, sponsor, performer, instructor, contractor, merchant of record, or operator of user-created events, opportunities, reservations, ticket sales, vendor spots, tournaments, classes, or related transactions.
All event operations, vendor opportunities, ticketed events, tournaments, reservations, classes, sponsorships, and related offerings are created, controlled, managed, and fulfilled by the responsible venue, vendor host, event host, tournament host, organizer, business, or user who creates the listing.
2. Organizer, venue, vendor host, and event host responsibility
Any user or business that creates a ticketed event, vendor opportunity, paid listing, reservation, sponsorship, tournament entry, class, or other payment-enabled offering is solely responsible for that offering.
- Event accuracy, pricing, dates, times, venue details, and capacity
- Vendor spot availability, setup details, and space assignment
- Event operation, staffing, safety, security, permits, and compliance
- Vendor communication, attendee communication, and customer support
- Refunds, cancellations, postponements, reschedules, and disputes
- Taxes, reporting, licenses, permits, insurance, and legal obligations
- Chargebacks, payment disputes, and customer complaints
SocialBuzz Events does not guarantee that any event, vendor opportunity, reservation, tournament, class, performance, appearance, sponsorship, or paid listing will occur as advertised or occur at all.
2A. Tax Responsibility
Event organizers, vendor hosts, businesses, nonprofits, sponsors, promoters, venues, and other users who create payment-enabled offerings are solely responsible for determining whether any federal, state, county, municipal, admissions, amusement, sales, use, excise, or other taxes, fees, assessments, permits, licenses, or governmental charges apply to their event, tickets, vendor opportunities, sponsorships, registrations, food sales, merchandise sales, donations, or other transactions.
Tax laws vary by location, organization type, nonprofit status, business structure, event type, and other factors. Organizers are responsible for researching applicable requirements and consulting their own legal, tax, and accounting professionals when necessary.
Organizers are solely responsible for adding any applicable taxes, fees, assessments, or governmental charges before publishing tickets, vendor opportunities, sponsorships, registrations, or accepting payments through the platform.
SocialBuzz Events provides software, ticketing, vendor management, payment routing, and marketplace tools only. SocialBuzz Events does not provide tax, legal, accounting, permitting, licensing, or regulatory advice and does not determine whether taxes apply to any transaction.
Organizers are solely responsible for collecting, reporting, filing, and remitting any applicable taxes or governmental charges related to their events and offerings.
If revenue sharing, split payouts, or multiple payment recipients are used for an event, the primary organizer remains responsible for determining applicable taxes, tax collection settings, and tax compliance obligations related to the event. SocialBuzz Events does not determine taxability or allocate tax obligations between revenue-sharing participants.
3. Buyer, attendee, vendor, and participant responsibility
Buyers, attendees, vendors, participants, teams, sponsors, and customers are responsible for reviewing all listing details before making a purchase or reservation. This includes event dates, times, location, refund policy, vendor requirements, setup details, age restrictions, rules, pricing, fees, and any instructions provided by the organizer or host.
By purchasing tickets, reserving vendor spots, paying entry fees, buying add-ons, or completing any other marketplace transaction, you agree that the responsible organizer or host controls the event, listing, refund policy, cancellation policy, reschedule policy, and fulfillment of the offering.
Refunds, cancellations, and event policies are determined by the event organizer. SocialBuzz Events serves solely as the technology platform facilitating ticket and vendor spot transactions and is not a party to any agreement between organizers, attendees, vendors, sponsors, or other participants.
4. All sales and refund responsibility
Refund eligibility is determined by the responsible organizer, venue, vendor host, event host, tournament host, business, or other listing creator, subject to applicable law.
SocialBuzz Events is not responsible for funding refunds and is not required to reimburse buyers, attendees, vendors, participants, customers, organizers, hosts, or businesses for refunds owed by another user or business.
If an event is canceled, postponed, rescheduled, moved, modified, underperformed, oversold, closed, delayed, affected by weather, affected by staffing issues, affected by vendor issues, or otherwise changed, the responsible organizer or host is solely responsible for communicating with buyers, attendees, vendors, participants, and customers and for handling any refund obligations.
5. Non-refundable fees
SocialBuzz Events platform fees, service fees, technology fees, transaction fees, payment processing fees, chargeback fees, dispute fees, and other third-party processing costs are non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
These fees may be retained even when a ticket, vendor spot, tournament entry, reservation, sponsorship, add-on, booking, or other purchase is refunded, canceled, postponed, rescheduled, or otherwise reversed.
These fees represent technology services provided, payment processing costs incurred, fraud prevention services, compliance support, platform operation costs, customer support tools, marketplace tools, and other services performed at or before the time of purchase.
If a buyer pays $105.75 and the underlying ticket or reservation price is $100.00, an approved refund may return only the refundable portion of the purchase and may exclude SocialBuzz Events fees, payment processing fees, transaction costs, and other non-refundable charges.
6. Canceled, postponed, rescheduled, or moved events
Event dates, times, locations, performers, vendors, schedules, activities, and offerings are subject to change. SocialBuzz Events has no control over cancellations, postponements, reschedules, venue changes, performer changes, vendor changes, weather disruptions, or organizer decisions.
SocialBuzz Events is not liable for travel expenses, lodging expenses, transportation costs, food expenses, lost wages, lost profits, vendor inventory costs, setup costs, equipment costs, marketing costs, or any other expenses incurred in connection with a canceled, postponed, rescheduled, moved, modified, or underperformed event or opportunity.
7. Vendor opportunities and vendor reservations
Vendor hosts are solely responsible for vendor opportunities, including spot availability, event details, setup instructions, check-in procedures, space assignment, vendor rules, required permits, event cancellations, weather decisions, refunds, and vendor communication.
Vendors are responsible for reviewing all opportunity details before reserving a spot, including event date, location, setup time, booth requirements, refund terms, permits, licenses, insurance, health department requirements, product restrictions, and host rules.
SocialBuzz Events does not guarantee vendor sales, attendance, foot traffic, profitability, event performance, weather conditions, location quality, vendor exclusivity, or customer turnout.
8. Tickets, add-ons, parking, VIP, and extras
Tickets, parking passes, VIP packages, drink packages, table reservations, merchandise, sponsorships, vendor spots, and other add-ons are controlled by the responsible organizer or host.
SocialBuzz Events is not responsible for fulfillment, delivery, quality, availability, substitution, or performance of any ticket, add-on, parking pass, VIP package, vendor spot, sponsorship, reservation, product, or service created by a user or business.
9. Payment processors and connected accounts
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Users who connect payment accounts or receive payouts are responsible for complying with all payment processor terms, verification requirements, account requirements, prohibited business rules, tax reporting obligations, and dispute procedures.
SocialBuzz Events does not control payout timing, processor holds, account reserves, verification delays, bank delays, chargeback decisions, refund processing timing, or payment processor restrictions.
9A. Event Proceeds & Recommended Reserve Policy
SocialBuzz Events recommends that event organizers maintain sufficient funds within their connected Stripe account until the conclusion of their event and the completion of any applicable refund, cancellation, dispute, or chargeback period.
Maintaining event proceeds in a connected Stripe account may help organizers efficiently process refunds, cancellations, attendee claims, disputes, chargebacks, or other event-related financial obligations that may arise before, during, or after an event.
Organizers are solely responsible for managing event proceeds, determining payout timing, maintaining adequate account balances, complying with applicable laws and tax obligations, and satisfying any refund or financial obligations owed to attendees, vendors, sponsors, or other participants.
SocialBuzz Events does not control, manage, hold, reserve, restrict, or guarantee organizer funds and does not assume responsibility for an organizer's ability to issue refunds, resolve disputes, satisfy chargebacks, pay taxes, or meet any other financial obligations related to an event.
By using the platform, organizers acknowledge that all decisions regarding payouts, transfers, withdrawals, and use of event proceeds are made at their sole discretion and risk. SocialBuzz Events strongly encourages organizers to maintain adequate reserves to cover potential refunds, cancellations, disputes, chargebacks, taxes, vendor obligations, and other event-related liabilities.
10. Chargebacks and disputes
Users agree not to abuse chargeback or dispute processes. If a buyer, attendee, vendor, participant, organizer, host, or other user initiates a chargeback or dispute, SocialBuzz Events may provide transaction records, acceptance records, ticket records, QR scan records, order details, refund terms, and platform activity to the payment processor or financial institution.
Organizers, venues, vendor hosts, tournament hosts, and businesses are responsible for chargebacks, disputes, refunds, and related costs arising from their events, listings, vendor opportunities, tickets, reservations, or paid offerings.
11. Right to restrict or remove listings
SocialBuzz Events reserves the right to restrict, remove, pause, disable, investigate, hold, review, archive, or terminate listings, tickets, vendor opportunities, payouts, accounts, or payment-related features at any time if fraud, abuse, chargeback risk, policy violations, suspicious activity, legal concerns, safety concerns, or platform risk is suspected.
12. No insurance or guarantee
These terms do not create insurance, a performance guarantee, a refund guarantee, or a promise that SocialBuzz Events will cover losses caused by any organizer, venue, vendor host, tournament host, entertainer, vendor, attendee, buyer, participant, or other user.
SocialBuzz Events is not responsible for guaranteeing the performance, attendance, profitability, quality, safety, legality, or completion of any event, opportunity, booking, vendor reservation, ticket sale, tournament, class, sponsorship, or paid offering.
13. Acceptance of these terms
By creating tickets, creating vendor opportunities, selling paid offerings, purchasing tickets, reserving vendor spots, entering tournaments, buying add-ons, or completing any marketplace transaction on SocialBuzz Events, you acknowledge and agree to these Ticket & Vendor Terms, the SocialBuzz Events Terms of Service, and any applicable organizer or host refund policy.
